COVID forced countless couples to postpone their weddings last year. Now more cities are opening, and more people are becoming vaccinated, so wedding ceremonies are coming back in full force. Couples are inviting more attendees to their wedding festivities. Guests are eager to attend destination weddings simply for the change of scenery. And more and more hotels are receiving an increase in Event Inquiries with the average wedding reception budgets equal to 2019. Industry experts have estimated approximately 2.77 million weddings will take place in the U.S. in 2021.

As wedding travel regains momentum, hoteliers need to find new ways to tweak their marketing strategies to recapture the groups they lost in 2020. One of the best places to start is making sure your group information is easily accessible and up to date on your website.
